Guests frequently appreciate the spacious super king en-suite rooms and comfy beds, also enjoying having outside chairs with a table. The restaurant's chalkboard specials are a popular feature, adding to the standard menu choices. While some guests have noted that the older windows let in street noise, the location provides easy access to explore the area, including Camber Sands and Winchelsea beaches. Many recommend dinner in the pub, especially mentioning the pie of the day.

The room had a superking bed that was comfy. I also liked having two outside chairs with a table assigned to the room. The restaurant had many specials on the chalkboard in addition to a standard menu.
i found the slightly muddy bit of the car park difficult to negotiate as it's not lit.
